How many Oranges are in a 20 lb box?

It is difficult to give an exact number because the fruit size varies from year to year. However, as a gauge you should expect roughly 25 oranges in a 20 lb box. This is NOT a guarantee of 25 oranges in a 20 lb box — it is just an estimate! However, because lemons and tangelos are smaller, you will get a larger quantity of fruit (but the same net weight). Conversely, when it comes to grapefruits you will likely get less than 20 grapefruits because they are generally larger in size.

Shipping:

Can I ship to Multiple Addresses?

Yes! However, our system cannot calculate proper shipping rates unless you enter a separate order for each address. In other words, there is no way to place a single order and ship fruit to multiple addresses.

I need my order by a certain day. Is this possible?

The answer depends on the fruit and time of year. It is best to give us a week or two in advance to make sure your order arrives on time (if fruit is in season). The timeline for fresh fruit is out of our hands and we will not sacrifice quality to meet a deadline. That isn’t to say that we won’t do our best to make things work for you — we just need to make sure all citrus shipped is of the utmost quality.

When will my order ship?

Shipping times depend on what you order. Most importantly, we cannot ship fruit until Mother Nature provides the weather to ripen the fruit to a suitable level. Orders containing fresh citrus will be shipped out once the fruit is deemed ready to ship. To ensure that only the freshest citrus is shipped, we ship shortly after the fruit is picked. We ship all orders with fresh citrus on Mondays and Tuesdays and you will receive an email with a tracking number once it leaves our facility.

Any orders not containing fresh citrus will usually ship by the next business day. Some large orders may take additional processing time so if there is a date you need an order by, please feel free to call or email us for more specific processing times.

When will my order be delivered?

This will depend on the shipping speed you selected as well as the ship date (see above). All orders are shipped from Arizona and will take 1-7 days from the ship date to arrive depending on the location it is being shipped to.

What carrier will deliver my order?

The majority of fresh citrus orders are shipped through FedEx, but will occasionally be delivered by USPS.

Can I ship to a P.O. Box?

Although it is possible to ship to a PO Box, we do not recommend it for fresh citrus. Due to holidays and the need to interact with USPS to receive your package, it may sit longer than you’d like and result in less than fresh citrus. Please use a home or business address for shipments.

Can I ship gifts to an A.P.O. / F.P.O. destination?

We will ship to an APO/FPO address; however we recommend only sending dry goods to those destinations. The time it takes to receive these items can vary anywhere between 1 week and 45 days.

Can I send items to Alaska or Hawaii?

We can ship items to Alaska and Hawaii but please be aware that it can take slightly longer to receive items in these locations. Shipping rates are often high, too.

What is freeze insurance?

Sometimes, fresh citrus can’t handle the freezing temperatures in transit or at the delivery location. We now offer Freeze insurance for FREE on ALL orders. If your fruit is damaged, ruined, or frozen please contact us.

Do you have a store?

We do not have a physical store. We pick up from our local grower and ship out orders the same day to ensure that our customers receive the very freshest citrus.

How do I create or login to an account?

From any page, you can click on “My Account” on the top of the page. It will bring you to a page where you can login or register for an account.

What do I do if I forgot my password?

Click “Lost your password?” at the bottom of the login box on the My Account page.

Is my information kept private?

Arizona Orange Company never sells or rents your personal information to anyone for any reason! If you would like us to delete your information, account, and any other information we have collected, simply contact us. We will be happy to do so.

Do you provide a secure checkout?

Our website and checkout is secured by SSL encryption and an advanced Firewall. We do everything we can to secure your information.

How do I use a coupon code?

You can enter a coupon code on the cart page by entering it into the “coupon code” box and then clicking the “apply coupon” button. If you forget to enter it there, you can enter it when checking out by clicking “Click here to enter your code” (slightly above the checkout information you are entering, right after “Have a coupon?”). Once clicked, you may enter it into the “coupon code” box and then click the “apply coupon” button.

Do you charge sales tax?

We are required by law to tax any orders shipped to an address in Arizona.
